About Me
HELLO, my name is Tabitha Schwierking. I was born legaly blind and with a rare heart condition . I never let that stop me from anything I wanted to do in life.
I grew up in a small Iowa town called LuVerne. I have a little brother "Jacob". He is my Irish twin and my best friend. In 2005 I got the best birthday present ever. One of my Dream dogs. My Beagle Joseph Jack.
I attended and graduated from CWL in 2008. Through high school and for a short period of time after I cared for kids in our community. I love kids I don't care if they are related to me or not I will always be crazy aunt Tabby.
I am a HUGE Iowa Hawkeyes Fan! I got to attend my very first Hawkeye football game November, 2015 where they beat my dads favorite team! IT WAS AN EPIC GAME!
I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. I try to rescue and help any and as many as I can. I was always known as that child that would bring all the strays home! That's how I got a few of my cats growing up! I thinks that's why my parents never got a farm.
I have always had a love for cameras and photography ever since I was old enough to know what it was.
In December, 2009 I met the love of my life. Joshua! We have been together going on 13 years! I moved into his apartment in Belmond, Iowa in the spring of 2010, Dogs and all! HAHA! I only had two then.
In 2010 we purchased our first home together in Kanawha, Iowa. I attended NIACC for a year and quickly found out that wasn't the best career path for me. I wasn't happy living where we were so we made the BIG decision to move to Rolfe, Iowa in 2015. It all went up hill from there! Iv never been happier.
Right before the big move I purchased what I didn't realize was going to be one of the best investments of my life, My yellow lab-Gunnar! Who I spent hours training and is now my service dog. Who knew he would be so famous. HAHA!
In September 2015 the best thing happened.... I BECAME AN AUNT to the cutest red head around. I have struggled with infertility and have came to the conclusion that God wanted it that way, and I was just meant to be the coolest aunt ever..
In July of 2021 I woke up one day and said im tired of being stuck and feeling like im not going anywhere. I decided I was going to pursue my life long dream of being a PHOTOGRAPHER! So, That day I called and made an appointment with Iowa Central and signed up for the photography program.
I still live in Rolfe, and I am a fur mom to 8, yes I said 8 dogs. 2 Daschounds -Ozzy and Sally, 2 Bassets, Odin and Echo, 2 Labradors-one yellow Gunnar, One black Aurora, 1 Old English Sheep dog Emmelia Mae Shepard and last but not least 1 crazy mix- Lady Lou. O, Can't forget our newest fur babies Loki, and Nermal! They are rescue kitties. The rest is history!
